CELEBRATE SOUND Don’t Walk in Silence 5k and Walk
CRA Therapy is a proud sponsor of the 2015 CELEBRATE SOUND Don’t Walk in Silence 5k on March 21, 2015! This is a national fund- and awareness-raising walk created to help promote hearing health in our communities. The funds raised by this event support grants, scholarships, and programs that help to further our hearing health mission and make tomorrow about hearing a child’s laugh or softly whispered “I love you.”
Want to help? Here’s 2 ways you can:
1. Run or Walk
This event will offer 5k and 1.5 mile routes. Families and strollers are also welcome.
Location: University of South Florida Tampa Campus
You can REGISTER HERE.
2. Donate!
Half of the net proceeds from this event will go to local projects supported by the Tampa Gem Sertoma Club. These programs focus primarily on meeting the needs of students with a hearing loss and on educating children about hearing health and our national heritage. A portion of the funds will be donated to the University of South Florida College of Behavioral and Community Sciences to help support program needs such as induction looping and other audio devices.
You can DONATE HERE.
